The day LocallyProven was born
My husband and I had just purchased our first house, a little smaller than we had hoped for, a little older than we expected, a few repairs away from perfect, but in a nice neighborhood- it was ours! After three years of fixing her up, it was our dream home!
Then one day I noticed the baby blue paint we had spent $5,500 for was flaking off. Upon further examination the paint was flaking off around the entire perimeter of the house. I told my husband and he quickly called the company who did the work: they were no longer in business. We were out of luck. It turns out the company did not properly remove all the old paint before applying the new coat. I now know this happens to a lot of people, but it doesn't have to!
That was the day LocallyProven was born.
